Visiting new Cernaval floating dock
The MARINSUR team has recently visited the new floating dock at Cernaval Shipyard in Algeciras. It is one of the largest floating docks in Europe with a total length of 230 m, a beam of 45 m and a lifting capacity of 30,000 tons. We were lucky to be accompanied by the shipyard’s Commercial Director, Mr. Enrique Pérez, who explained to us in detail how this modern dock works. We also had the opportunity to visit the dry dock, including the pump room, as well as other shipyard facilities.
