FÉLIX PATIÑO
Félix Patiño has a university degree (MSc level) in Civil Navy (Engine Section) and Chief Engineer license.
He has a large experience in the marine industry after 12 years at sea, mostly in oil and chemical tankers and reefer vessels; five of them as Chief Engineer. Later, he worked the next two years as superintendent.
Subsequently, he worked during 12 years as surveyor in a big Spanish Insurance Group, the last two as Technical Manager. He decided to set up his own business and founded MARINSUR in 2004 together with Capt. Colomina.
He carries out a wide range of surveys and has a particular area of expertise in hull and machinery damages and casualty’s investigations, as well as Condition and Valuation Surveys. In addition, he also conducts ISM and MLC audits.
Félix speaks fluent technical English and Portuguese.
